Real estate is one of the most competitive areas in the Internet. And that makes sense since the sale of property tends to provide a really high income.
The approaches to promotion in this domain are very dynamic and change regularly. When we started the promotion of our first project back in 2010, we had to compete only with small agencies like ourselves. But since 2018, aggregators and search engine services have been prioritized in the top positions of SERPs.
Such changes and new promotion trends require well-coordinated analysis and regular willingness to update resources. On the average, a website design alone needs to be updated once in 3-4 years to stay afloat.

Promotion of a complex multilingual website with a catalogue in all CIS regions of the Yandex and Google search networks. Along with the clicks from the top positions of SERP, good results are shown for the clicks from the Yandex Searchsters: Yandex.Q, Yandex.Zen, and Yandex.Collections. During website optimization we used a complex and dynamic approach for each website page to increase link juice and conversion. The VPUT project is a case of development and promotion of a large aggregator of rental real estate created on a turnkey basis from scratch. It’s a multilingual, multi-domain, complex, interesting and top-notch project. We used many marketing and SEO techniques in the promotion of this project. To combine a large semantic core the website uses a lot of internal landing pages as well as information pages to draw convertible traffic.
7 years of intensive promotion resulted in holding the leading SERP positions for the Bulgarian region. We are launching promotion in the regions of Greece and Montenegro as well. The website is indexed well both in Yandex and Google. This site is in the top positions on the Google SERP for generalized queries regarding vacation by the sea that don’t specify a region.

Initially, this project consisted of two different websites villareal.ru and realtysp.com
At the first stages of our work we tried to understand the general visibility of each of the sites, doing our best to provide technical optimization and on-page configuration in the main sections of the menu. Once having achieved more accurate visibility of the projects, we identified the affiliation of the projects with realtysp.com being the main domain. That is why villareal.ru was merged using 301 redirect. After that realtysp.com began to grow steadily and in a short time it was able to land on the top 2 positions of the Google SERP for the main most popular query “недвижимость в Испании”. We kept it there for many years, simultaneously working on and expanding its semantics in new directions. We payed special attention to Barcelona and resort towns as well as to the Costa Blanca, Costa del Sol, Costa Brava. All low- and mid-frequency queries were anchored in SERP tops and provided good conversion traffic.

It’s a project for a large chain of aparthotels. In 4 months we were able to promote the aparthotels niche. With the growth of the hotel chain we started to expand the project for high-frequency queries related to daily apartment rent and reached TOP 20 in SERP. Due to the pandemic, we included an option for a long-term rent into our promotion.

The complexity of this project consisted in its technical structure. Initially it contained a huge number of technical errors and duplicated, broken links and intersections of the URL hierarchy for the English and Russian domains. We provided technical audit and a complete technical requirement specification for a programmer. We implemented most of the edits. After that the works on the project were suspended due to the pandemic; however, this website has significantly improved its visibility in the SERP and that is reflected on the charts below.

The special appeal of this project consisted in combination of two competitive niches within one site: the sale and rent of real estate in Moscow.
In order to combine these queries we separated these directions and used different internal landings for various clusters of regional groups (property in a specific area of Moscow). Besides, commercial real estate was transferred into a separate group. The block of products on the main page was accompanied by spectral words according to the “Korolyov” algorithm by Yandex (now it’s “Palekh” and “Yati”). Separate spam parts of the listing were hidden from indexing. Our final achievement was hitting the SERP TOP 10 in the domain of commercial real estate rent (office rent) in Moscow.
